1、How are candles made?
It is completely different from the ordinary candle. Color flame candle is a creation which organically combines and inherits the features of liquid color flame candle and traditional solid candle.
2、What makes candles burn different colors?
Dream color flame candles use mineral and metal oxide compound to make them burn with different colors. For example, have you ever thrown table salt into a fire? Well, table salt is sodium chloride and that will create orange sparks.
3、How many kinds of colors?
Depending on the color flame oil, Dream color flame candles have five colors: Passionate Red, Autumn Yellow, Romantic Blue, Youthful Green and Mysterious Purple.
4、Have dream color flame candles scent?
Dream color flame candles have scent. Generally, the candles are with the lavender fragrance. But we can make product according to your demand. We can offer you different fragrance.
5、What is the best way to store candles?
Dream color flame candles should be stored in a cool, dark, dry place and, for tapers, in a flat position to prevent warping.
6、How do I make the candle work?
It is very easy. To make the candles burns with a colored flame just light them with a match like any other candle. After a while, the flame will be fabulous different color.
7、Can I mix the different color flame oil?
Yes, you can mix the colors but, we don’t recommend it. You will get a flame that both colors at once in different parts of the flame. You will also get a flame that is the combination of both colors. (Red / Green = Yellow) it is not a very pretty effect. The colors will be alternating and at random. If you would like a mixed color, you can take a look at our Gold Yellow color flame.
8、Can I relight my candles?
You can relight your candle. Just easy! You just replace new wick and place a few drops of fresh oil directly on the top of the wick and let soak down the wick. However, tealights are hard to relight and we recommend you do not blow them out and try to relight them later as you may be disappointed because the tealights are disposable.
9、Are color flame candles environmentally friendly?
There are no known environmental side effects. The color flame candles do not include the element of petroleum thus deplete mineral resources. They are also water soluble.
10、Are they suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
Certainly! Candles are made of mineral and metal oxide compound and do not contain tallow or any form of animal wax. Neither do they contain paraffin wax from petroleum. So they are suitable for vegetarians, Buddhist and the Hindu festival of Diwali.
11、Are the dream color flame candles safe?
Definitely! The candles have been tested by independent testing laboratories to conform to international standard. We also repeat tests annually not just the product issue. We have safety assessment certificates for the candles, such as SGS certificate, RoHS certificate (LED candle), and certification for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods and so on.
12、Is the color flame fuel safe?
It is non-toxic, smokeless, non-corrosiveness smokeless. Its highest burning point is 85℃, not easy to fire when overturn. And the flash point Temperature is 128℃.Flame is soft and without flare and hot-nose. When burning, the lamp wick does not produce carbon mom oxide. When burning, it can release lavender fragrance.
13、What is the wick made of?
The wick is specially designed to match the color flame candles. Different candle goes with the different wick. The wick is made of cotton and glass fiber.
14、How long do dream color flame candles burn for?
①Tealights can generally burn for 2 hours provided there are no draughts. If there are draughts, they may burn quicker. ②Color Flame Torch can burn for 3~4 hours. Festival candles can burn for 3 hours. ③Hand-made Glasses Lamp can burn for 2~3 hours. ④Square/Round color flame candle can burn for 3~4 hours. ⑤Floating candles can burn for a long time providing it is poured color flame oil into the vessel, because it is DIY candle. Birthday candles.
15、How can I make the color flame lamp light easier?
You can use the refill bottle cap that came with the lamp and place a few drops of fresh fuel directly on the top of the wick and let it soak down the wick. This will make it a lot easier to light.
If this is the first lighting for the lamp, use the refill bottle cap to saturate the top of the wick. Make sure you tilt the lamp slightly forward for a few seconds so the fuel will wet the bottom of the wick as it goes from inside the lamp to the outside. After the wick is fully saturated, then light the wick. Fresh wick and fuel makes the lamp very easy to light.
If the lamp has not been used for a while and was left with fuel in it, it might sputter and be a bit hard to light because of the water vapor absorbed into the wick and fuel. Use a wooden match to light the lamp in this case. Keep the top of the bottle of fuel tightly closed. This will help keep the fuel fresh and prevent water from dissolving into the fuel. Colored flame fuel is hygroscopic - it absorbs water.
16、Are the lamps refillable?
Color flame Glass lamps are refillable. A 20ml lamp will generally burn for 2 hours when full before refill.
17、What is the Floating Candle?
Floating candle is a new range of dream color flame candle. It is tiny as well as delicate. Important, it is DIY. It can be used in many places such as wedding, party, bar, restaurant, hotel, home and so on. And you can pour color flame oil into any Broad –mouth-Cup, put the Floating-Tablet, and lighten the wick; you will smile and see the marvelous looking.
18、What happens if I spill the candle on my clothes?
Just soak the cloth for 3~5 minutes in water (preferably warm water) and the fuel will be dissolve.
19、What happens if the candle spill on to a table top or surface?
If you do spill a candle, don’t worry! Unlike conventional candles though, the ‘wax’ will not peel off. Simple take a cloth, dampen it in warm water and leave it over the spill for some minutes.
20、Sometimes I see yellow streaks, why?
The yellow streaks in the flame are caused by carbon being partially burned. The wick is cotton and mostly contains carbon, oxygen and nitrogen atoms. Don’t worry! After minuets, the flame will be normal.
21、How to deal with Black-Carbon deposition in the wick?
Usually, the red candle and blue candle will deposit some black-carbon deposition after relatively long time burning. (Other three kinds of colors have not such phenomena) Maybe it will affect the flame. Don’t worry! You can grip the wick with the scissors upward to draw out 1-1.5CM and then trim off the black-carbon deposition. It is just easy! (Except Torch).
